New Workout Program Not Appearing in Calendar: Troubleshooting Guide

Diagnose and resolve why a new workout program is not appearing in your Dynamic Strength app calendar.

Last updated on 24 Jun, 2026

If you just started a new workout program but it isn't showing up in your app calendar, don't worry. This guide will help you identify the cause and get your workouts back on track.

Possible Causes

Several factors can prevent a new workout program from appearing in your calendar:

• The program is paused. Paused programs are removed from the calendar until resumed.
• Only one program can be active at a time...starting a new one may require pausing the current one first.

How to Fix the Issue

1
Check if Your Program is Paused
Go to the Coaching tab. Find your program and see if there's an option to Resume in the top right. If so, tap Resume.
2
Ensure Only One Program is Active
If you have another program running, you must pause it before starting a new one. Only one can be active at a time.
3
Restart the App
Completely close and reopen the app to refresh your calendar view.
4
Check for App Updates
Go to your device’s app store and check for any updates to ensure you’re using the latest version.

If your program still doesn’t appear, contact support via the Community Forum or Help section in the app.

Verification

After resuming or starting the correct program, your workouts should appear in the calendar on the correct days. Verify by checking the Training Calendar in the Today tab.

Prevention Tips

  • Always tap Resume if you see it on your program card.

  • Pause any current program before starting a new one.

  • Keep your app updated to the latest version for best performance.
